Lynn Deddens

Lynn M. Deddens serves as the Prosecuting Attorney for Dearborn and Ohio Counties. Lynn is the only Prosecutor in the State to have two counties in her jurisdiction.

Lynn was appointed to the position on January 6, 2017 and was elected on November 6, 2018.  Prosecutor Deddens grew up in Dearborn County and graduated from Northern Kentucky University and Valparaiso University School of Law.  Prior to becoming the Prosecuting Attorney, she served as a Deputy Prosecutor since 2003.

Prosecutor Deddens is active in the community.  She is a board member and past President of the Dearborn and Ohio Counties United Way, Past President of the Dearborn and Ohio Counties Bar Association, member of the Bright Lion’s Club, member of Tri-Kappa Sorority, 2017 Women of Distinction recipient, member of Women Armed and Ready, Past Chairwoman of the Dearborn County Republican Party and is a parishioner of All Saints Catholic Church.
